Color blocking my way

Sunnies -SIXX dress - VERO MODA shoes - No Brand bag - ANOKI PARIS

Closer look at  the bag and sunnies

As per my tweets I spent the very warm afternoon at the Magnum infinity lounge in downtown Hamburg. It is a seasonal lounge opened unfortunately only till the 28th of July (tommorrow). You can either custom make your own Magnum ice or enjoy an icream swirl, which I chose to do instead. It was made of soft ice, strwaberries and white chocolate (death by sugar???) and the most divine thing I have had in quite a while.

The lounge itseld is super classy, I love their decor. It was only on this corner where there was these two vintage chairs. The rest of the lounge is really clean, with simple white pieces. and a lot of space. The ambiance was great, and service was super fast. I really enjoyed it, and suggest you go visit before time is up.

I will have to wear this pleated dress again so you all can see just how pretty it is. The bag and sunnies are re discovered gems. I bought them 2 years ago in Paris, wore them once and kinda forgot about them...So glad I found them, especially the bag. It's so unique!

shades of brown

Sometimes I wish I had bigger boobs... Then I get a dress like this and I quickly get over it :)

Dress - MANGO bag -C&A shoes - DEICHMANN sunnies - KENNETH COLE

I bought this dress 2 summers ago, when Scarlett Johansson was the face of Mango. She was on the cover of the mango catalogue wearing this dress and I knew I had to get it. It's very light and summery and the straps are detachable. The wierdest thing is that I don't wear this dress often enough, I guess because the weather doesn't allow and it's too cute to be hidden under layers, so I'm glad the sun is with us.

Roberto Cavalli Resort 2013

Here are some of my favorites

The most basic rule of fashion is: if the outfit is busy, keep the shoes simple...

I was mostly excited about this collection because of the warm colors and the infusion of the 'sporty' aspect from the baseball hats. The whole collection looks like art work it's so vibrant, what's more, there is something here for every type of style from very conservertive, to flamboyant, it's very avant-garde.

Also, it would be quite simple to find low end pieces that can be styled in the same way to produce the same chic effect. I would wear all these outfits just as they are!

Pretty Tall for a short girl

DRESS - OASAP Bag+Shoes - ZARA belt + shorts+ rings - H&M

I got accepted into the OASAP bloggers programm and this was my first purchase.

I must say,  I am a little stunned at how short this "dress" is considering it comes in one size.It fits like a shirt, and I am not at all tall, infact, I always considered myself medium height. I also didn't look at the dress well and thought that it was a high front, low back type of dress, which as you can see from the pictures, is obviously not. It is also very voluminous - there's a lot of material that just hangs there, hence the belt. Still I found a way to work with it. I wore a pair of shorts underneath, in attempt to make a summer's evening night out  - kinda situation. Although I know I will wear it with leggings, jeggings and maybe a pencil skirt? during the day so I am spoilt for options.

Also, when the boy saw my ensemble tonight, he really liked it, so I guess I am lucky that it's versatile, however, this length is just obscene for rainy/conservative Hamburg. What say you? too short or short enough??

Here comes the sun again

sunnies - MR PRICE top - H&M pants - PROMOD shoes- ZARA accesories+bag - GIFTED , MARNI xH&M

Watching Brad Goreski (The stylist, former assistant to Rachel Zoe) makes one feel devoid of color in their wardrobe. So what better way to celebrate the return of the sun than to embrace a colorful outfit?
Speaking of the outfit, dont you love this sleeveless skull shirt? It's all business at the front but all party at the back. The white chunky Marni x H&M bracelet was the only thing I managed to get from that collaboration that I really loved.
The plan was to go swimming, but we figured everyone would be doing that so we ditched that and did a lot of fun random things concluding the day with ice cream - my guilty pleasure! Hamburg is so beautiful when the sun shines.

And who am I?

Dress - ZARA coat - Thrifted Shoes - DEICHMANN Fan - SPAIN

That's a secret I'll never tell. You know you love me... XOXO

I woke up to a tweet from Grazia UK saying that Gossip girl was shooting their final episode today. This reminded me of the time when B. wore her hairbands all the time and my sister bought me this red hair band as a present. So I made my semi Gossip girl look, I know I needed some sick fingerless lace gloves to complete the look but I don't own a pair yet. Next time though.

Monalisa Smile

 bag+top+Belt - ZARA leggings+shoes+Hat - H&M

It's supposed to be summer, why am I still wearing jackets?? I long to wear flowy summer dresses and feel that sun burn my skin as a thin sweat slowly rolls down my body. I want to be in Italy like yesterday, augh!!

So I will pretend to be in Paris, just because, Paris is that more beautiful under stormy skies. I will wear my blacks and speak the little French I know to whoever says anything to me. Hell, I'll make it a French day, eat croissants and say Merde! whenever I disagree with something. Well, only until I get back to my living room, where it's always summer.

Just like that, I turned my frown into a smile.

Step inside the eye of your mind

 Top+Dungarees - H&M earrings - BijouBrigitte Bracelets - Gifted+H&M, shoes - ZARA bandana - GIFTED

Letting out my inner farm girl.

I wore these dungarees on a sunny winters day, and went on a rant about missing the sun. I then put the dungarees away and forgot about them until today, I am so happy I "found" them.
Inspired by the ultimate dungarees fan Alexa Chung - here's my rendition of white shirt and dungarees.

Lost Places

top + coat+shoes - ZARA shorts + necklace - H&M bag - OLIVIA HARRIS

I just spent the whole afternoon at the museum. We went to see two exhibitions - Lost spaces and Alice in wonderland. I saw the former first and it totally blew my mind away. I experienced so many emotions at once, just staring at those pictures and by the time I was done, my head was pounding. It's a high I am still recovering from - or maybe I am just unwell?? That means that I didn't have as much enthusiasm for the Alice in Wonderland show, which I had high expectations about and was quite dissapointed, or maybe too mentally exhausted to appreciate as much... Still, and I am glad I went.
